Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially announced the 2023 Green Manufacturing List, and NIO was successfully named to the list of Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises after multiple rounds of assessment. This is the first time that NIO has been selected into this list.

On January 1, 2024, NIO announced that in December 2023, NIO delivered 18,012 vehicles, a year-over-year increase of 13.9%. In the fourth quarter of 2023, NIO delivered 50,045 vehicles, representing an increase of 25% year-over-year. NIO delivered 160,038 vehicles in 2023 in total, increasing by 30.7% year-over-year. Cumulative deliveries of NlO vehicles reached 449,594 as of December 31, 2023.

Xi'an, China, December 23 - NIO Day, an annual gathering of NIO and its users, was successfully held in Xi'an with the theme of "A New Journey" this year. Over 2,000 NIO users participated comprehensively in preparation for NIO Day, including event planning, stage performances, and hospitalities, and more than 10,000 users were present at Xi'an Olympic Sports Center Stadium for the event.

On December 1, NIO announced November deliveries with a total of 15,959 vehicles, increasing by 12.6% year-over-year.

On November 30th, 2023, NIO reached a total of 30 Power Swap Stations (PSS) across 5 European markets and over 2,200 worldwide. Today. NIO continued its European expansion of the Charging and Battery Swapping services with the opening of two new PSSs in Malmö and Arlandastad, Sweden. Both PSS belong to the third generation, which can perform up to 408 swaps per day and store up to 21 batteries. 

NIO Reaches 30 Power Swap Stations in Europe and Over 2,200 Worldwide

2023 November 29th, Hangzhou, China –Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (Geely), China’s leading privately-controlled automotive technology group and NIO Holding (NIO) signed a strategic partnership agreement on battery swapping in Hangzhou.

On November 21, 2023, Changan Automobile and NIO signed the partnership agreement on battery swapping in Chongqing. The two parties will jointly facilitate the formulation of standards for swappable batteries, build and share the battery swapping network, develop swappable vehicles, and establish an efficient battery asset management mechanism.

On November 1, NIO announced October deliveries with a total of 16,074 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 59.8%. From January to October 2023, NIO delivered a total of 126,067 new vehicles, bringing the cumulative total of NIO vehicle deliveries to 415,623.

October 26, 2023 Baoji, China - The 2,000th Power Swap Station of NIO opened in the Baoji West Service Area on the G30 Lianyungang-Khorgos Expressway, which is known as the extention of the old Silk Road in China. On this route, the NIO Power network supports its users to travel from Lianyungang, located on the east coast of China, all the way to Tianshui in the western province Gansu with battery swapping.
